Summary: Cylindrical gray granite monument has a metal sundial attached to the top side. The stone is engraved HOME OF / WARREN G. HARDING / TWENTY-NINTH PRESIDENT OF THE / UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / IN THE GREAT FULFILLMENT WE / MUST HAVE A CITIZENSHIP / LESS CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT THE / GOVERNMENT CAN DO FOR IT / AND MORE ANXIOUS ABOUT WHAT IT / CAN DO FOR THE NATION / ADDRESS TO THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION / CHICAGO -- JUNE 7, 1916 / DONATED BY THE MONUMENT BUILDERS OF OHIO, 1987. The sundial is round with a bird-shaped protruding piece that casts a shadow on the face of the dial. The dial is marked with Roman numerals around the face and there is a robed man with a long beard carrying a scythe.
